An application is a year of small decisions
Most of them are made badly by students working alone, and most of them are irreversible by the time anyone notices. This is where the year actually goes, and what we are doing at each stage of it.
One counsellor stays with you from the first sitting to the airport. Not a team, not a queue, not a handover — the person who reads your first email is the person who preps you for your visa interview.
Working out what is actually possible
Before a single form is opened we go through your marks, your backlogs if you have any, the gaps in your record, what you want to be doing in five years, and the number your family can genuinely fund. Then we say what that adds up to — which is sometimes not what you walked in hoping for. The shortlist that comes out of this has ambitious, likely and safe options on it, each with its entry requirements and its total cost written next to it.
A plan that does not add up is worth killing in month one, not month nine.
Building an application that sounds like you
Your statement is the only place a committee hears you rather than reads your marksheet, so we draft it with you across several sittings — never for you, because admissions officers can tell instantly and it costs students offers. Alongside it, transcripts, recommendations, experience letters and attestations get checked against each university’s specific requirements before anything is submitted, and every deadline goes on a tracker you can see.
We have never written a student’s statement for them. We have talked a lot of students out of paying someone who would.
Making the numbers work
Scholarships are lost to timing more than to merit — early-bird rounds and regional bursaries routinely close months before the application deadline, so we apply into them while your file is still being built. On the lending side we work with Credila, Avanse, Axis Bank and IDFC First, and we will tell you plainly when a public bank is the better deal even though it earns us nothing to say so.
Students of ours have gone out on up to a full fee waiver. Every one of them applied early.
Getting you there, and after
Financial documentation gets put into the exact shape the consulate expects, and we run mock interviews until the answers are yours rather than rehearsed. Then accommodation, a packing list, forex, SIM advice, and airport pickup where we can arrange it. After that you have a Mumbai number that still answers — students have tested it at three in the morning, from an airport, more than once.
The relationship does not end at the visa stamp. Most of ours are still going years later.
What we don't do
Every one of these is something another agency will happily offer you.
The first consultation is free. Registration is ₹4,500, and for any university we hold representation with, that is the whole of it — everything on this page is covered, with nothing further payable to KMI at any stage. Where a university sits outside that list, anything additional is quoted to you in writing, once, before work begins.
Fees payable to universities, test providers, consulates and lenders are separate and paid by you directly to them.
Start with the free consultation
No obligation after it. Walk in, call, or send the form — whichever is easiest.
