Terms & Conditions
The terms under which KMI provides overseas education consultancy.
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Kajal Mehta Institute (“KMI”) and individuals or entities (“Clients”) availing study abroad services provided by KMI. By engaging with KMI's services, Clients agree to abide by these Terms.
KMI provides comprehensive end-to-end study abroad services, including but not limited to university application assistance, visa guidance, accommodation arrangements, travel planning, and pre-departure orientation.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information required for the application process. Any misinformation may lead to adverse consequences, and KMI will not be held responsible for such outcomes.
Clients agree to pay the agreed-upon fees for the services provided by KMI. Payment terms and schedules will be outlined in the service agreement. Failure to make timely payments may result in the suspension or termination of services.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Refund eligibility will be determined based on the stage of service completion and any non-refundable expenses incurred by KMI on behalf of the Client.
KMI will handle all client information with the utmost confidentiality. However, Clients acknowledge that some information may be shared with relevant institutions, authorities, or service providers as necessary for the study abroad process. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
While KMI provides guidance on visa applications, the final decision rests with the respective immigration authorities. KMI is not responsible for any visa denials or delays.
KMI assists in arranging accommodation and travel, but the ultimate responsibility lies with the Client. Any issues related to accommodation or travel disruptions are to be addressed directly with the respective service providers.
Clients are expected to maintain a professional and respectful demeanour when interacting with KMI staff, partner institutions, and service providers. KMI reserves the right to terminate services if a Client's behaviour is deemed inappropriate.
KMI reserves the right to terminate services if a Client violates these Terms or engages in behaviour detrimental to the study abroad process. In such cases, the refund policy in Section 4 applies.
KMI may update these Terms from time to time. Clients will be notified of any changes, and continued use of KMI's services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
KMI does not guarantee admission to any university, the award of any scholarship, or the grant of any visa. Those decisions rest solely with the institutions and authorities concerned. No employee or representative of KMI is authorised to promise an outcome, and any such assurance is not binding on KMI.
Fees payable to universities, test providers, immigration authorities, lenders and accommodation providers are separate from KMI's own fees and are paid by the Client directly to those parties. KMI holds representation agreements with certain universities and may receive a commission from them; this never changes the fee a Client pays, and shortlists are prepared on the basis of the Client's profile rather than any commercial arrangement.
To the extent permitted by law, KMI's total liability arising out of or in connection with its services is limited to the fees paid by the Client to KMI. KMI is not liable for losses arising from changes in immigration policy, institutional decisions, currency movement, or information the Client has provided inaccurately or incompletely.
These Terms and the relationship between KMI and Clients shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
By engaging with Kajal Mehta Institute's study abroad services, Clients confirm their understanding and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
